Play the ArtLine Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt, Win Prizes for the Family
Lakewood, CO – Join 40 West Arts and the 40 West ArtLine for a summer fun dinosaur themed scavenger hunt in celebration of 40 West Arts' 10-year anniversary. Head to 40 West Gallery, Mint & Serif, WestFax Brewing, and Red Herring Art & Supply to pickup a clue sheet and then take to the ArtLine! Find clues and collect hints to complete the sheet and win prizes. Play all month long and through August 31st to win a gift bag and enter a raffle for a gift basket valued at $150 (while supplies last)!
You can play along by finding three iconic art installations along the ArtLine route, scanning the QR code at each site, and returning your sheet to 40 West Gallery to win a small prize and be entered into a drawing to win a $150 family fun gift basket!
“The ArtLine is turning four years old this year, and is one of the proudest achievements in the District. Celebrating Colorado history, arts, culture, and our historic corridor that encourages the community to explore art outside was a must for summer fun and celebrating 10 years along West Colfax,” says Katy Zeigler, Communications Director for 40 West Arts District.
A Helpful Hint: The three scavenger hunt artworks are at each of the three Northeast Lakewood parks along the route (Mountair, Aviation and Walker Branch), but we encourage you to walk, bike, scoot or shimmy the entire 4-mile path!

The 40 West ArtLine is a 4-mile walking and biking arts experience in the heart of the State-Certified 40 West Arts Creative District near historic West Colfax Avenue and the RTD W Line in Lakewood, Colorado. This free outdoor gallery experience follows sidewalks, bike and park paths, and local streets and can be visited in sections or in its entirety. Supported by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the ArtLine launched in 2018 after years of planning, and is envisioned to eventually become the longest continuous arts experience in Colorado.
